this has come from the donor car i got my f8c motor and gearbox from thought somone might be interested in seeing how it was setup

I've only ever seen one coil spring conversion done on an MB before, and it looked like a lot of effort for no real gain.

that's some pretty dam interesting pics you've taken right there.
that looks very similar to the SH410 'Alto' rear end. seams to have the same points and matiz are 114.3?
would be good if that fitted into an alto because it looks like its a factory version of 'drop axle' which i was going to do anyway.
will have to go and check one out myself
if you still have it handy man, mind running a tape measure... width of mounting wheel face to wheel face (drum to drum) very much appreciated if you could
