Just Added Photos of the Matiz Rear Suspension
this has come from the donor car i got my f8c motor and gearbox from thought somone might be interested in seeing how it was setup

That handbrake cable looks identical to the MB/hatch ones....are you thinking of a conversion into the MB?????

You certainly covered every angle with those pics! :lol:

I've only ever seen one coil spring conversion done on an MB before, and it looked like a lot of effort for no real gain.

I agree, you wouldn't really gain you anything unless you have IRS....

come to think of it does the matiz have auto adjusting brakes on the rear?? I really hate the ones on the MB and Hatch!!!! :twisted:

Got a DSLR Recently so i have a macro zoom that works as it should so can take nice photos now unlike the point and shoot i used taking photos pulling apart the matiz to start with

that's some pretty dam interesting pics you've taken right there.

that looks very similar to the SH410 'Alto' rear end. seams to have the same points and matiz are 114.3?

would be good if that fitted into an alto because it looks like its a factory version of 'drop axle' which i was going to do anyway.

will have to go and check one out myself :P

if you still have it handy man, mind running a tape measure... width of mounting wheel face to wheel face (drum to drum) very much appreciated if you could :P
