I forgot to mention that a week or two back I set up a gallery to track the progress of (gazuga) Mark's rebuild.

I'll leave this thread here in case Mark wants to comment on how he's going. Only two weeks till the gong cruise buddy! :D

hey hey, thanks..

yeah i know only two weeks :-o , going to be tight, i might be screwing bits of the interior in as im driving they way its looking, but im gonna be there dammit :D

laid down the first coat of paint wednesday night.. not quite the right colour but meh, i just want to drive the thing again
engine will hopefully be going in next weekend. then drag it home a few nights before the gong cruise and start fitting the interior.

got to get a windscreen fitted somewhere in the middle of all that too.

Bah! You don't need an interior to come cruising. :D Hell, the way you drive you don't even need a dash or speedo!

at the moment its errrr... tin shed silver. not the colour the paint looked when i bought it, not the biggest fan of it either, but thats the colour it'll probably be at the cruise, dont have time to change it before :(

will be decideldy half cooked at the cruise, half painted, my new bonnet scoop wont show up till mid next week, havnt had found any seats i like yet, dont know what colour the paints going to end up so cant trim the interior...

If time becomes an issue mate just give a yell and we can probably push the 'gong cruise back to the week after Easter instead of the weekend before.

Don't worry, my roof lining is falling out and the paintwork is still not 100% - there's no point worrying if Josh is coming. He'll steal the show. :snigger: :D
