Hey all I sold my MB about 3 or 4 months ago to a guy named chris, who also has a swift gti. i havent seen anything of it since... does anyone know anything about him or the car?

yeah it is but im not to sure as to wether it will be in the new colour or just filler and primers i hope to have it finished though

Hey - you still have 6 weeks or so... But ask HOLK... I think the rule is take whatever the spraypainter tells you and miltiply it by 4... weeks... dollars...

How'd you find that? I have searched everywhere to do this course but I was always informed that I had to be an apprentice.
I did find a TAFE course teaching the art of shaping steel. I thought "Great, now I can learn to shape the steel I can make new wider panels on the Carry for wider wheels, but then I have to take them elsewhere to get them spay painted.
I thought about doing an engineering course so I can make adapters for different engines for the Carry again olny to be told I have to be an apprentice.
Today I went to visit a new mate at his work. He has a huge shed and this time I saw some large machinery. "Is that one a lathe, what's that one?" "No' he said 'that ones a milling machine, it'll make gears for your gearbox amongst other things, it's a great tool and that one behind it is the lathe. By trade I am a fitter and turner."
Cool, now I might be able to make an adapter to put a Subaru engine in it. No hurry of course, why waste a great F10A that has traveled 275,000 km that does not use oil?
But when it does happen should it be called a Suziru or a Subuki?

You reckon they'd still be thirsty pushing only a half of a Subaru's weight Brayden?

I have been shopping around for several months for courses: I have finally found the "automotive centre of excellence" at Docklands, part of Kangan Batman. They have a multitude of courses (short and long) from spray painting to composites (which is what I am going to do next). The centre is only 2 years old and with the latest of everything.
I will let you know more after Monday night class.

Thanks Holk, that is where I found the panel fabrication course, except they couldn't help me with the course you are doing. Obviously they didn't try hard enough
