hi all, i have a recently picked up a F5Adohc injected turbo engine and gearbox, unfortunatly due to unforseen circumstances i have to sell the engine and box, to pay some bills

i have a F5A Dohc fuel injected intercooled turbo engine, gearbox, driveshaft stubs, intercooler, the engine is pretty much complete, the only parts missing are the wiring harness which is partially there and the engine mounts.

asking $450 o.n.o

regards

hi guys, the engine/box is located at my factory in sydney/hornsby, i was intending on wiring up a microtech or something similar as a standalone programmable ecu instead of using the factory ecu, to do the conversion you would need a standalone ecu or genuie wiring harness and factory ecu which i have neither as i wasn't needing either.

i believe the box is a five speed it came out of a alto from japan.

Most ECU's will work, so long as they support 3 cyls, but they'll need to be tuned with on dyno.
I use an EMS stinger 3.

hi guys, did some tests on the engine tonight, did a compression test but did'nt have the correct fittings for the spark plug hole as its a different size than most, i just held the tester over the spark plug hole still reads around 90psi on average for each cylinder but still felt alot of the compression escaping and so i could'nt get a correct reading, will be getting a differet compression tester on saturday so should get a better result then, not exactly sure what the compression should be either all i know is that the engine is rated at 8.0:1 compression ratio which should mean about 110psi i think. if any one knows please let me know.

have spoken to a couple of freight companys today and freight is not cheap been quoted around $200+ to ship interstate, at the moment its hard to get a quote for freight as the engine is still on the floor and the shipping companys want exact weights and sizes which i have'nt had the time to do as yet(working three jobs take up most of my time  )

if there is anyone that knows of a cheap freight company please PM me with there details it would be greatly appricated.

hatchman give me a buzz, just have to organise time as i work alot and at different places

cheers
