Mate I'd been keen but at the start of the week I took my mb off the road for abit of work. I'll tag along in the suzuki x-90 though. Glorious is a good run. Not sure how the hatch's/mb's will go up the hills lol.

Mt Mee is a doddle compared to Glorious. I spent a few months working Mt Mee as traffic controller when RoadTek did the upgrade & the first half of the job was driving my MB with auto on F8B. By the time we moved on to Mt Glorious I was driving the Jackaroo - (similar performance to the MB on hills except for heaps more torque from the 3.1 turbo diesel) The Jackaroo made more bones about Glorious than Mt Mee. It takes roughly an hour from Samford to Cedar Flats due to the twists & turns, add another 5-7 mins to the Wivenhoe-Somerset road intersection.
I've estimated MightyBoy times as they are more nimble than the 2 tonnes of 4wd touring wagon I last heaved through there (glad it wasn't a Troopy).
I wont be able to make it myself, The 'Roo's front pads are beyond replacement interval & I am waiting for 'specialised fittings' to arrive before I can do the job & My MB is just a little too heavy to push down that route from Maleny & back without an engine & box.

Sounds good. I'll bring some drinks and sausages.
Not sure, theres a nice bbq area on the mt mee part. Usually going a lil fast to watch for bbq sites on glorious side lol.

There is a park on top of Glorious, just past the shops (maybe 150m or so)Maiala Recreation Area, a lookout area about 5Km(?) further on & 2 parks - White Cedar & Red Cedar at the bottom on the Wivenhoe side. Mt Mee has a lookout on the Woodford side with very little table space but good parking (don't recall a BBQ there). There might be a better spot out at 'The Gantry'. I've only been out to King Scrub on Mt Mee Road so not aware of anything from there through to Eatons Crossing Road. It is imperative that you carry drinking water as the water available at the rest areas/camp grounds is not suitable for drinking without you boil it for at least 10 minutes.
