so im thinking about scraping the cannon muffler ive got on my carry.
well a have a hmf r1 muffler and im thinking about puting it on the carry
would it work/sound ok what do you guys think.
the exhuast thats on it now is the stock header to the stock cat and then a 2" pipe to the cannon so should i just cut the cannon of and weld up the bike muffler.
cheers...
R1 muffler on f10a supercarry...
I'd been considering the same for a 'trick' look on my MB. Will be interested in the result (I gave in to the high cost of bike mufflers... $400 or so for a bike job against $150 for a complete 1 & 3/4 system).
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

I will put on a bike muffler instead of the rotten stock exhaust, too.
Won an auction on ebay and will hopefully get two kawasaki zzr 1400 pots soon.
They're scratched because the bike crashed, but thats no problem for my application.
They only cost €10 + €10 for shipping
I will mount one of them, but more "hidden" for stock look.
The muffler should be able to handle the amount of exhaust gases, and
I think they should not rust / rot so fast, maybe the zzr muffler is a bit lighter, too.
Will post pics when successfully installed.
