OK getting old sucks and lets face it your boy might not look so much like kid anymore and more like a half beaten alcaholic Midget at schoolies week ;)

So the little things make a difference SO I DISCOVERED!!! That rattle when you close the door or having to hand press the glass up as you wind is slightly annoying.

I searched around and couldnt find any new MB rubbers so I went to the local rubber shop and low and behold BINGO

Yep $10.95 a meter and 100% exactly the same profile.

4 meteres and half hour work and it now sound totally different when shutting the door as well as closing window.

WHEN YOU BUY IT LOOKS FLAT (I was shocked and thought WRONG!!) But it is correct

A little fold and it is the same as the stock MB Bailey Chanel (with felt)

And these are the people you can order it from at $10.95 p/mtr

They will ship Australia wide as well

You can get the same stuff from Clarke rubber for the same price or cheaper. I think I only paid $9.95 a meter for mine. Bought door rubber and pinch weld as well.

Looking at the Clark Rubber site, its a bit hard to tell which one from the small pics.. Do you know the part number / product code for the bailey channel rubbers and pinch weld? Do they have a suitable product to use for door seals?

Cheers.

Can't remember of the top of my head I just took in the old stuff and matched it up, they had it sitting on the shelf was it was all pretty easy.

Nothing that I saw for the door rubbers but you might be able to replace the pinch weld in the door with one that has the rubber on it as well to help with the sealing. My door rubbers were ok so I didn't have to replace them.

Cheers
Paul
