Hey there i have a 86 mighty boy for sale. It runs but has a blown head gasket. Well thats what i think it is... Haven't really had a proper look. It overheated on the way to uni and then i drove it home and it has sat there ever since. Could even be something minor like the thermostat but i don't have the time to work on it and i got another car. It has 161 000 k on the clock but had a full recon about 20 odd k ago (all paperwork available).

So the flaws are:
- the overheating issue
- oil leak from somewhere but again have not sussed it out
- most panels have some kind of ding in them
- bit of rust starting around the firewall (just needs a wire brush and rust inhibitor)

Upsides:
- fairly recent engine reco (i think about 20 000 ago. can't remember exactly
- aftermarket bucket seats (not sure what car they are from) with drivers side have full adjustability
- 3" rear alloy lowering blocks
- its a mighty boy!

I have attached a pick of it from about a year ago but will put a more recent one up as soon as i get time. I can't believe i'm finally parting with this as i love it to bits but i don't have the time, money or motivation to put fix it up.

So its far from being a pristine example of a mb but with a little tlc you'll have a nice little mb run around. Or a good project. Hit me up with some reasonable offers

picked this up this morning,

Tom, so far we have found that the spark plugs were dry stuck in the head, looks like they have been seeing some coolant. seen that and decided head rebuild is the go. a mate in bris is taking the head off today and she will be running strong again before santa comes.... :D

cheers from a very happy buyer
