Gentlemen, for those people out there who have seen the 4EFTE , G13B or any other unusual registerable combinations could you please post some photo's of the engine bays. It would be greatly appreciated, especially the G13B, actually just any of them.
Thanks
Pete

Sorry, it just amazes me the lack photo evidence available for these larger capacity mighty boys??? Quite a few people seem to have viewed a G13B conversions yet no one ever takes a photo
Pete
PS Love the CB 70/80 such a massive shame that spares are almost impossible...

I've only ever seen one G13BA conversion, and the owner was very secretive about the details. Never seen/heard of a G13B conversion, mostly because the modifications required to install it make engineering difficult.

If you modify the chassis rails the car is a write off. To get starlet motor in requires mods to them.

That's strange billi I dropped mine in yesterday with no chassis mods! I just strengthened the chassis in certain areas to avoid twisting! However the original chassis was not touched! I suggest you research a little more thoroughly before you jump to falsified conclusions

We're all intrigued to see how you just "dropped it in".

When it's complete I will post a photo of the engine, however don't really want to show much as I'd prefer keeping my cards close to my chest. Looking at getting down to heathcote in the next 3-4 weeks. I'll post the video.

Tez I've already asked for as much info/photos as he is willing to provide so I can do a feature article for the front page of the website.
Honestly I'm surprised that any 4 cylinder motor will fit without having to cut into the chassis rails, however the Starlet does have a smaller gearbox than most similar cars.

My 660cc four cylinder just fits, it has a smaller box than a mb. I'v measured n/a and turbo starlet motors, both too large. Either way my 660 will handle 10x better without a anchore up front
I still dont believe he just droped it in, i have seen one in person, both rails had to be cut. I think i have a pic but not sure if owner wants them going around.

It's not just a hate thing. I think it's more or an envious-jealousy. For a few reasons. A) these people don't have the mental capacity or a creative bone in their body to pull a real conversion off. B) they don't have the money to bank roll such a conversion. It's pretty obvious, cos if you read through the threads it's the same dead beats that criticize what someone is trying to do.

Skill? you are paying someone to do it, no skill there. Jeleous? Only mb i am jelous of is Braydens, best looking mighty boy going around. Until there are pics, no one will believe. Mainly because the engine doesnt fit between the rails.
