Hey guys i got a quote today on a Reco F8b + everything for the conversion a second hand manual box + pedal box and all acc 6 mth warrenty on engine and 3 mth on box $ 1650 the lot. Is that a reasonable price? What do you guys think

I was quoted $850 for a daewoo matiz engine/gbox setup, F8C. What is included in the 'everything you need for the swap' ?

With an F8B conversion generally the engine, box, manifolds, carby, starter, radiator.
For an F8C you'd need all that, plus loom, ECU, driveshafts, box cables and mounts, shifter assembly, and possibly the Matiz subframe.

I've seen the car at the wreckers and it had a very bad front end smash.The dude in the yard was a bit of a smart arse to the point that my daughter pick it up.
