A couple of guys from
Iron Chef Imports have entered a
fundraising rally from Adelaide to Perth via Uluru, and they're doing it in a MightyBoy! The rally is raising money for cancer support, so if you're interested in getting behind a great cause then throw a few bucks their way:

I've kicked in $50 on behalf of Team MightyBoy.

Kristian from ICI did it last year in a Daihatsu Move - and the car didn't make it.
Here's hoping they get through it this time!
Only a broken exhaust so far

Don't mind at all, but I'm also happy for people to donate under their own name.

Great stuff guys. I've wanted to do this for a couple years now, just haven't got myself organised.
I want to know though, where did they manage to get a Mighty Boy for under $1000? Almost worth going over to Perth and see if I can get it cheap at the auction.

Bought somewhere in New South Wales, then driven to Adelaide.

Here's the auction listing (yes I know they've called it a station wagon):

I've never paid more than $800 for a MightyBoy, and even at that price they've been driveable.
