I had the chance to put the mb on the dyno today, did better than I expected at 47.7kW. I was the days record holder for about 15mins... until the second car for the day rolled on.

I always wondered what my old hatch would have pulled, now i know!
Would be good to take it down the 1/4 and see, all i know was my hatch would keep with my mates auto skyline up to 100!
And it annoyed him!!!

CHR15 N -> Thx for posting this up man, it's great to see & congrats on the achievement. That should be so much more fun than the stock F5a to drive.
So I take it with say 12psi the F8b might be able to pull the same power as the F6a? If the engine could live with that amount of boost.
I've got something to look very forward to when i get my F8b turbocharged.
Cheers

Oh i'm doing it, I've just gotta collect all the bits first! I have the EFI intake & turbo manifold to fit to my F8b. Have to get a turbo, fmic & piping, and get my F8b rebuilt and i'll be boostin.......Colin wrote:do the conversion i got 65.6 hp@ the wheels at 140 km/h when i put mine on the dyno running 16 psi
Is that 16psi on the stock piston's? What sorta turbo you running?
