I have weber 32/36 downdraft carby flanges also if you decide not to run the standard carby.

 How much trouble to adapt to early G10a? The alternator has to be behind the engine as there is a mount in front & I can see alternator & crank pulleys need changing.
So many delays to getting my MB back in order with 993cc & 5 speed transaxle... neighbor issue gone, donor shell up on rotisserie, new sheds on the way.... another project also..

AMR300 would be a touch small for a 1L me thinks! (I know an F6A turbo is too small for an F8B!)

Most likely wishful thinking considering the way my mightyBoy is(n't)going. Still working on getting a transaxle - have had to go back to Derek for one of his GTi jobs @ $350.00 & I am dubious that would cope with a blown G10a. More likely to need one of those boxes you (Brayden)told me 'bout

I've seen a sierra 1300 with an AMR300 in a magazine, 4WD Action/custom if my memory serves. I was sitting there wondering how the lobes weren't melting while on a 1300...

Absolutely zero experience in forced induction but I have some knowledge.
You will obviously need the kit to start with. Then work out what brackets, pulleys & belts you need & set them up.(Blower will most likely mount on manifold but will need to be supported whilst manifold is constructed). From there you will need either go to the exhaust shop (or be able to DIY) to get custom intake manifold built in steam pipe.
May as well go to an F8b as you will most likely need to re-build your engine to cope with the boost from a supercharger (have you seen the conrods in an F5a?) Have a look at the turbo conversion threads to get an idea of what is required.

This isn't an exhaustive list, but should cover the basics.
1) Custom brackets to mount supercharger on the rear of the motor.
2) Custom pipework to plumb the air intake/outlet and remount the carby before the blower.
3) Regraphed distributor to prevent engine pinging.
4) Upgraded fuel lines, fuel pump and install fuel pressure regulator.
5) Upgraded jets in carby.
6) Custom crank pulley, tensioner and belt to run the blower.

Of course as gadj says all this is assuming your current engine is in very good condition.

Maybe think of it as a flange kit. ;)

Like to know who here has put one of these on? Can anyone confirm the type of crank pulley used? Also wouldn't a amr500 be better for an f8b?
