I'm pretty sure that "van" is latin for "road trip", and seeing as I own a van it was a foregone conclusion that I would have to take it out on the open road on a trip to the coast. So because there was shit going down in Sydney I had decided to abandon my plans wo go to WSID and do a tour of the south coast instead. 8)

Setting off on Saturday morning I headed from Canberra down through Bungendore and Braidwood to Bateman's Bay and then up the coast to Ulladulla and Jervis Bay.
With an overnight stay at Col's, and a camp in the van, we were off to a show 'n' shine at Repco Ulladulla on Sunday morning, and a leisurely cruise back up to Nowra and out to the coast at Crookhaven.
Following a brief dip in the ocean it was back on the black top and up through the Kangaroo Valley to Fitzroy Falls, then a couple of hundred kays on the back roads to Goulburn and home late Sunday night.

Anyway, just thought I'd share my great weekend. I couldn't have done it without my Suzuki Van! A big thanks to Col and Andrea as always for their hospitality and kebabs! :yum:
