I'd say there is something drastically wrong with yours. Start with the basics. timing, points, plugs, carby. Alright, sparkplugs I can do! With timing are there any tests I can do beyond just inspecting the belts? Hate to be a total beginner, but does anyone have detailed information on points? No...

Performance expectations from a 550cc MB?
Just wondering what people are able to get out of their MBs in terms of speed and acceleration. Obviously with such a small engine I'm not expecting that much, but I'm thinking that mine might be a bit lackluster. Generally speaking it's a huge struggle to get much over 60 km/h and even getting to t...

Just remove the tray inspection covers and it is a 5 minutes job. Sweet, thanks for the help. Strangely I found that the hose was too short to reach the nippl...

Fuel smell in cabin - disconnected pipe? [Pics inside]
Hi all, I'm new Mighty Boy owner, just got a '88 500cc one. Been driving it around a little bit over the last few days and noticed that there's a fuel smell in the cabin - had a look around and found this tube behind the passenger seat was disconnected: http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/4429/mbpipe1sv3...

Adding A/C to a Mighty Boy?
Has anyone attempted to add air-conditioning to a Mighty Boy before? Was it a particularly painful and expensive experience?

Hi peoples, I'm looking to get hold of a Mighty Boy. I've been trying for a while now to get hold of one through the usual second hand car sales places but I'm just having no luck - they always seem to be sold by the time I get to them. I figured it was worth trying here. I don't really mind about t...
