Long distance trips

I finally had my Suzuki Carry van F5, 550cc 5 speed change to a F6, 660cc 12 valve, 4 speed manual(carburator type) and I love the performance of the 12 valve. To bad a 4 speed transmission was not available and no turbo or EFI either. I already change my tires to 175/65, R13 a little offset so when...

F6 valve clearance

Finally got to replace my Suzuki Carry F5 engine to an F6 12 valve engine. And my mechanic was able to do it in less than two weeks! :) We could not find a 5 speed manual transmission and we thought the F5 transmission will fit the F6 but we found that it won't fit and there was no available surplus...

Can you use unleaded Fuel?

Can you use unleaded fuel on an F5 or F6 engine on a suzuki carry van? I think my van is a 1992 model as indicated on the seatbelt because it was imported in Japan. But you can check my van on this site.

Mini w/a vtec engine

I've just open my TV and watch the Auto car show and saw a modified 1960's or 70's mini couper. The guy placed suicide doors and a classic side view mirror just like in a volkswagen. To open it you have to use the side mirror to open the doors...pretty neat. :) What's cool about this car was he exte...

I'll keep you posted once i got the email.

There are a lot of Suzuki's enthusiasts down south of the Philippine Island with air brush painted in their trucks and vans. And of course crazy modified engines.

What if you could mount in a suzuki carry truck a V-tec honda civic engine?

I'm not sure but it could be. The 4k engine usually comes from a Toyota corolla in the mid 1980's. They were so many of them both private and public (taxi's) because it was a good and economical engine. They were also use in small wooden boats by our fisherfolks and it was locally called banca's. Th...

Engine upgrade

In the course of my search on how to upgrade my carry van. I've just found out down south of the Philippine Island in Mindanao, they upgrade their engine by putting a Toyota 4k engine (1.3cc) for drag race.

China made Carry

Hi there! I just saw on display a brand new Suzuki Carry Van made in China. I look at it's engine and it has a Donga 1.0 EFI engine. My guess that it still an F10 engine. They say that for additional cash you can have it install a dual AC. Just want to know if a brand new F10 has power even though i...

I already had my aircon fix but accoring to the aircon technician I should not expect it to be comfortably cold as compared to a regular car since I have a small compressor(the device that makes it cold). And putting a bigger compressor won't help either because I have a small engine. I drove it dur...
