Yeah I have one ... don't waste your time looking. I'd been looking for something since I got my alto 5 years ago and I havn't turned up any thing worth while. I'm considering designing something for my final year project for uni. but, that's another 2 years off and what I was gonna do was rediculus and barely worth mentioning.

oh, so i guess it must be a 89 alto works rs/r then
full sets can be purchase from yahoo auctions japan ( http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp )
or directly from suzuki sport ( http://www.suzukisport.com )
you're probably looking around 200000yen + shipping
if its a 800 hatch (SS30, SS40?), then you're out of luck

unless the hatch uses the same strut and brake assembly as the mighty boy, in which case you'd be set because mighty boy units are available from hotbits. refer to this post

lol, I was talking about my Suzuki Alto GA. and when I said "Yeah I have one" I ment suggestion. I have a set of '93 Alto works struts (they where too short for my car but, to my knowledge they are standard).
I've mainly been looking at getting a set of inserts but, I havn't been able to find an Australian supplier that can get the right diameter with a short enough strut (everything else was identical).
If you can read Japanese, can get someone there to freight some shocks and have faith that your buying a good enough product. Then by all means go ahead. Me personally I'm thinking of redesigning my Alto to be a whole 'nother beast (for my major project at uni) I'm also prepared for it to not be street legal afterwards. I just need money.

Fyn, I'll have a look at my Alto and advise you on what your options are.
