ok getting prepared to start spending some big bucks on my boy...

basically depending on the front cut i buy (dohc turbo efi.. likely f6a)

well anyway.. preparing to take my boy to adelaide and get he whole thing built... can the transplant get done there and have an engineer pass it in wentworth(NSW) for NSW use...
Or does an actual nsw engineer have to complete the work.. ANYONE in adelaide that yas know(workshop) who has done the conversion before and will do it again???...

any templates or copy made mounts bellhousing shit etc for the F6a that u guys have or cna get access to? would it make the conversion easier or do the guys have to build them form scratch..(templates already made mounts would be time + cost effective???)...

if it cant be built for nsw roads by an S.A mob id prepare to take my boy all the way to wagga... Even tho i know no workshops tehre.. aswlel as adelaide even

thoughts???

whats there out the for aftermarket parts such as orged pistons etc for the f6a.. any one got a heavier duty clucth on their f6a 5 speed box.. ?

on having my motor worked....
dunno whetehr to get it built be fore the transplant... and dirve aorund in stocko f6a motor then later pull it out get it built, bored etc...
and why the motor would getting built id repair the body and paint and stuff aswell..

im gunna be getting ready to shoot lots of questions at ya later.. have big plans for the boy.. hopefully aiming for 75kw...(relaistic anyone got that many? @ wheels)

I want it done in adelaide for ease even tho i dont know anyoen who can do it there.. just throw some stuff at me not technical facts ive read most of that..... but just one what order and where to go about it..

also random question.. posisble to have front like an LSD.. like out of an alto etc... also and one got a heavier duty clutch made up for tehir f6a 5 speed??? .. or had their f6a bored and forged with good ehadwork.. if the aftermarket parts are availiable???

Fabrication can be done anywhere, but as a rule of thumb it is better if the engineering signatory can see the project at intervals before, during and after the process to ensure that you don't have to redo anything because it isn't up to spec.

If you're after info on high-po gear for the F6A then please search, it was covered only yesterday:

... and there is more info around the place. ;)

whats your thoughts on having the motor built before its put in... or do it down teh track once i get used to the stock f6a power in the boy... and when its in need of refreshing and shit?

or just go for it straight up and have it a full house restoration
