Does anyone have any picture of the setup with which to activate the secondary butterfly of the carb?
Or cud you explain how to do it?

Another query guys. Have anyone of you removed he choke plate and the rod which sits above the primary? I'm asking this coz the rod and the plate seem to block a bit of the opening and wouldn't it produce some good results if it is to be removed?

There would be no difference without the choke plate, only that you wouldn't be able to start it on cold mornings.

Yes, i did link the two throttle butterflies. Both open to the max, the secondary will open when the first has opened for about 50%, but there's a flat spot if i suddenly press the throttle in any gear and if the revs are not right in that gear. The acceleration has been improved a lot. Top end not much difference.
I removed the choke rod & the butterfly, i can now use the choke lever as a cruise control haha... pull the lever it has the same effect as being given steady throttle.

that choke cruise control sounds dangerous to me! You need cruise control to turn off when you tap the brakes.

Nah, the hand throttle is more dangeroud in my landcruiser... 
When you twist it, it pulls the throttle open and gives the cruise control kinda thing. Only problem is some idiot hits the brakes infront of you for no apparent reason, then you gotta quickly unwind the thing back.

Compared to my hand throttle, the choke is a better option of "cheap cruise control"

yeah but say what if a little kid runs out in front of you you would not have time to wind or push the lever back in also your first instinct is to go for the brakes and try explaining your home made cruise control the the crash investigation team, you are likely to end up with a manslaughter case on your hands. just my 2 cents. i have had many near misses(not kids) in my 8 years of driving although i spose all you gota do is go for the clutch and brakes.
