I doubt you would find a centrifugal charger that was small enough. AMR300 is the only unit I know of that is the right size.

Firstly, you'd want to have one hell of an F8B setup to run over 10PSI, and secondly I highly doubt that any supercharger would melt unless it was made of Lego.

how much work is involved in fitting a AMR300 to an f8b and is the power gains worth it?

i was thinking mabye a fuel injected f8b and a AMR300

whats the thoughts?

I run a AMR300 on my 998cc Mini Moke.
Driven at 1:1, it makes about 5psi. I have overdriven it in the past to produce around 10psi, and there were no problems with the rotors melting.
You are right about the AMR superchargers running 'plastic' internals - the rotors are fluorine (basically teflon) coated. If you run them too hard, this melts and you end up with a bit of a mess.
As I said, 10psi didn't seem to cause any problems for me - I'm not sure how hard you can push them, though. I know the larger Toyota SC12 superchargers can generally run 12-14psi before you run into melting rotor problems (SC12 rotors are also fluorine coated).
An alternative to the AMR300 could be an AMR500. The AMR300 pumps out 300cc's of air per revolution, the AMR500, 500cc's per rev, so obviously you dont have to run them as hard to make the same boost. . .

i think you would have a real hard time trying to get a AMR500 in the engine bay. I only just managed to get the 300 in there your 2 main problems will be the exaust and the oil filter (see pic's) also the limited room to the frount nose cone. if i could find a photo of them side by side you woould see what i mean

Check with Colin the Holden remote oil filter setup goes in in fact the Holden oil filter fits as well so you can have a bigger filter and therefore more oil.
