Howdy,

Just got a new head on my Suzuki 800 as the old one was completey stuffed!!! And now since i got the car back slowly overtime the fuel and water temp guages have stopped working. They would read crazy then correct but now they just dont work at all.

I have checked the fuses under the dash all good just wondering what i could do to fix it....sort of weird how they slowly stopped working over time.

And suggestions on where to look for wiring problems etc...Thanks guys!!!

:)

Most likely a dodgy earth connection to the cluster. ;)

i had a similar problem about a year ago
my temp and fuel gauges worked but not properly
my fuel gauge was reading about qtr of a tank higher than what was in it and my temp gauge acted normal for about the first 5 mins then it just shot right up to overheat even tho the car wasnt even hot yet
the other thing i also noticed was the left and right blinker lights in the dash cluster were working arse about and really dull
all i did was hook a new earth up to the dash cluster and all was fine again

HTH
