welcome mate, you'll have to turn the car upside down to get the leg room for a matress. im 6.4 as well, and its suprisingly easy to get behind the wheel of these little beasts.

I'm roughly 6'3" and I managed to sleep in the tray of my ute one night. Boy was I drunk, yet supprisingly confortable! Had a foam mattress and a sleeping bag, along with my canvas soft cover. Was the goods. Have also used my tray as a swimming pool with a tarp, and obviously an esky too.
Garry. Nuff sed!
layin on a swag, with the tailgate down, under a blanket, with legs hangin over the edge, i managed to spend most of the night in the back with beer and a rather good looking girl.

Hi all,
I'm Harry.
Just picked up my "new" Mighty Boy today.
It's an ebay acquisition.
Mainly had high performance cars, and then switched to 4WDs.
Ralf is a 1979 Range Rover (my family name the cars - I don't get it though), hence Ralf the RR.
Fuel is costing me a fortune, so downsizing to travel to work is what prompted me to get a MB. Actually I always wanted one - just needed an excuse
I'm fairly mechanical, so nothing is not fixable.
Don't like the new fangled electronic gizmos in cars. Don't know how they work, so can't fix em!
First drive impressions:
Pedal positions are horrible!
Seat lays back too far.
Gear lever is vague.
Brakes - need to check em out - I'm used to 4 spots
Overall - I'm reasonably happy

G'Day from Perth
Deb has always wanted a Mighty Boy so when we needed another car we found a nice MB with an F8B about six months ago. We thought we might drive it once a week but we drive it nearly every day.
(The Falcon stays at home.)
We've just bought another MB with a F5A. You really notice the difference in power.
Our son is supposed to be buying this one from us. If he doesn't I might have to give it an F8B conversion.
Cheers

welcome y'all.
Seat position is because the seat frame is made out of spaghetti I stripped the seat down bent the frame back to where it should be and welded plates all the weak spots not bad now. The pedal position you can't do much about although I did fantasise about cutting the power bulge for the wheel and flattening it a bit to see if can get some feet room.

Hi, I've logged in here nearly every day for months, but still hadn't got around to doing this, so here goes.
My name's James, and I have owned my G10 powered MB for about 11 years. It was the second car I owned and I doubt I will ever get rid of him. (Can be seen in gallery).
I drove the MB with 550cc for about a year before a friend of the family (also a MB owner at the time) offered to do the G10 conversion for me if I paid for a G10 engine for his MB. Sweet deal. The performance gain was amazing, a really fun experience to hop back into your own car and have it drive like something else.
Sorry I can't be of help for those doing G10 conversions, as I wasn't involved in the build. Good news though, is that the car is completely stripped down undergoing a major rebuild, so I will try to post up some shots of modified parts, and make notes where I can.
I ended up fitting an SU carby, as the standard carb was a prick to tune. I intend to rebuild the car with a EFI engine replacement.
I do a bit of composites work, so I have made a fibreglass bonnet, although I am getting into vacumn infused carbon fibre, and will replace the bonnet with a carbon one, as well as making a carbon stone tray.
I hope to post up progress shots pretty soon, as the car is almost ready for primer.
I also own a second MB, not running as of now, but sitting next to him is a Cappucino engine and the promise of another project......
