F6A isn't difficult to fit and is probably the easiest turbo EFI option, but the fabrication/strengthening/engineering costs aren't cheap.

Best bet is to give an indication of budget, and we can list the options. Knowing your location would also help too.

If you buy an F6A front cut it will come with a 5 speed box. Mind you the final drive ratio is almost identical to an F8B 4 speed.

$1700 will get you the front cut, but by the time you add the cost of grafting the cradle into the engine bay and upgrading everything else, plus emissions testing and engineering, you end up somewhere in the $4k+ mark. If you're particularly fussy it would end up costing more.

i paid 100 bucks for a charade for my conversion, ok its not an EFI F6A, its a 993cc carbie, but it is a five speed... and a POWER HOUSE  well is comparison to the 543cc.

well the point im trying to make is for $1700 you can buy a half decent car in AUS and it'll probably have rego. then chop that little fella into your boy. at least you already know the the engine meets AUS emission laws and what not.

The emission laws apply to the engineering process. So when you go to swap the Charade carby motor in a MightyBoy it still needs to be emission tested to ensure it still complies. This means you must also transplant all EGR and emissions equipment from the Charade, and if the motor or catalytic converter are out of spec, you're boned.

So add the cost of engineering approvals etc to your $100 Charade and the value starts to disappear.

The reason I went to all the effort of EFI turbo on my F8B is because there is a loophole that means it doesn't need to comply with DOTAR regs for emissions.

Nope, same thing... it still needs to comply with emissions. Might be worthwhile checking with an engineer before you start the job. ;)
