Hi Brayden..
The last time we spoke you were thinking about selling a black one.. Are you refering to that one? Even if your not..

My price range isn't set.. anywhere upto about $6000 depending, of course, on the condition/work!

Tez,

I saw that one on ebay - that is what's prompted me to reactivate my account here. I was looking for a Hearse :-o and didn't find much so thought I'd give Mightyboy ago.. :D If it wasn't ending on Monday I would've gone and had a look at it.. But, it's 5 hours away, plus his feedback shit. And I don't understand the seller.. I asked why we was getting rid of it and he said he'd just bought a bigger car. I'm worried about the work he has done to it recently.. only to buy a new car. And new paint job - it could be hiding rust.. But, I did drool a little over the mags :) AND - It's purple.. I'm a black and red girl. It would be silly to buy a newly painted car only to have it redone...

I was looking at getting a new swift a few months ago.. But the company I work for went into receivership.. and right now I have the funds - kinda - to get 'new' car. So I'm looking at my dream car again..

Thanks Guys!!

The black one is long gone, but I have another one that I would consider selling. If you want more info then let me know and I'll PM you my number.

Here's the thing - I've never driven a Mightyboy before.. Anybody wanna lend me their Auto for half hour? I wanna know how it might handle..

I'd like to drive one just to make sure that I really want one.. ... Before I buy one in Melb!!

Come and take mine for a spin if you like - it will turn you off buying a 550cc auto for good.

Are you talking the green one or the red one?! I just wanna drive the red one! I have a brother in law who may go to Melb for me to check out the motor and stuff.. Does it look OK? Remember I'm a girl and not really a rev head. I want a mightyboy cause they're cute.. :D

What side of town are you on Brayden? 8)

I'm in Belconnen, and yes driving the red one will most likely turn you off an auto 550cc because they are so painfully slow.

I'm sure there are a few guys here that will work cheap to help me put an 800(something something) motor in it!! Beer and steak.. Just got a new BBQ!! :D

But seriously.. I learnt how to drive in a 91 laser.. No power steering.. And I'm currently driving a 90 Camry.. It can't get much slower..

I can't get to Melb till Next weekend (AFL Grand Final and the hubby won't leave town..) and I'm waiting to hear back from the seller..

When I last drove an auto 550cc 'Boy... a snail passed me! Seriously, a '91 Laser will seem like a Formula One car compared to an auto MB.

Even a manual 550 mighty boy is painfully slow, i could almost measure 0-100 on a calender :(

The auto is fine as long as you have an 800cc motor to power it. I was surprised when I drove my missus' automatic Alto 800cc and it had plenty of grunt.
