Hey Guys,

I decided to run my lil purple beast at Eastern Creek last nite. I wasnt expecting too much from it. the best I got was a 24.50@51 mph. lol. Yeh reall crowd pleaser. I even got a mention from the comentators to go to bracket attack due to my consistant 24.5 second runs. well im going to get the beast dynod in couple of weeks to see the kw. judging by the time, not alot.

i thought the MB's would run out of revs down a strip...
Because they jump off the line and use up gears like nothing.
You wouldn't be in 4th (or 5th depending what mods you got) and valve bouncing before you get all the way down?

well according to calibur the hatch will do 175 in 5th so... thats like 106 mph and my old GTiR did 12.8@106 so that would be seriously nuts for a MB

Well the top speed of my ute (by gearing) is theoretically 170kph, and to get a 15 second pass I'd only be doing about 135kph.

The gearing should be good for a 12 second pass, but the gearbox would become soup well before that.

I've got that covered. The biggest problem for me is getting to a strip, the closest one is WSID, and that's an expensive tow job if something breaks!

thats the thing.. When i broke the box on my GTiR it cost $160 for 50 k's, then the bill for repairs came. ouch at least suzukis are cheaper!

16.2 with crazy wheel spin, have the slip around here somewhere, at calder a few years ago. gave the silvia in the other lane a scare off the line
