This post is image heavy... Sorry.
This site has popped up before, but its worth another mention:

I got my digital camera working again so here are some better photos.

Good shot of the engine and box bolted together

And the intake sitting on the flange (needs to be welded)

From the front

Using this mount (was an engine mount from the GTI) for the rear gearbox mount
Due to the intake ill have to move the Alt... Thinking something alone these lines

VL commodore mounts. These will be used to mount the engine. Much stiffer that the F10A mounts, cheap and easy to come by. They even blot onto the standard cross member... bonus!

GTI friction plate. The internal diameter of the unit is too small for the Carry box. The external diameter is the same though at 190mm

GTI pressure plate. Now after the whole GTI friction plate discovery im a little concerned about if it'll work with the new Carry friction plate. The external diameter is the same, but if I get a 2000 Carry flywheel I'm not sure if it'll bolt to it. Time will tell.

Where the intercooler would go...

TB and rad pipe fitted, works quite well!

These two holes align correctly (the gearbox needs to have its holes drilled out .5 mm *sigh*)

These holes align with a G13B block... I have a plan though...

Nice clear shot for the clutch cable, a custom bracket will need to be made
For the suspension, check out that link at the top. Heres some images from the site.
Thats it for now...
Sam.
