Totsally agree Brayden, can't say that is something that i wanted to do either, her choice even after all the negatives were pointed out. Thankfully I don't have to worry about it now, since she won't drive a manual and i refuse to put a auto in one

Drive: 1997 Toyota Starlet... (the incognito mobile)
1985 Suzuki Mighty Boy, currently being restored.
1995 Nissan GT-R33
Why doesn't the Gene Pool have life gaurds??

That reminds me of a pic i've seen of my dad's car back in England in about 1970, he had a Sunbeam Tiger ( link for those interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunbeam_Tiger )which is a 2 seat sports car, similar in size to a mazda miata with a 260ci V8! He made up a cradle to fit a baby seat behind the seats, and it wouldn't have had too much more space than the mighty boy does behind it's seats!Al_Zhiemer wrote: As i was looking at restoring another one of these for a friend so that she could at least get herself and child around, i made a few enquiries with the QLD transport department and found out that i could mount a baby seat in that section providing i could prove that the seat was safely and securely mounted.
So for a couple with a child still in a baby seat, you could possibly get away with it. but i would check with your local authorities befor going to far with putting a baby seat in there.
