Unless someone has started making other weird sizes then 175/50 will be your only option. Pirelli make that size.

A lot of it is going to come down to rim width and offset.

I have fitted 14" x 6" with a +38 offset, tyres are a 155/55x14 tyre. the rear fit without a concern, i have clearence on the outer of the gaurd and on the inner near the spring and hanger. will probably roll the gaurds on the rear as a precaution and shave some metal off the bumpstop just to solve any issues befor they arise.

The front how ever is a totally different story, the front gaurds are going to have to be flared/rolled a fair bit and the inside of the tyre looks to scrub on the inner front of the gaurd on full lock.

If i was going to buy another set of rims for the mighty boy, i would personally go for less of an offset and flare the gaurds alot more to solve the scrubbing issue on full lock. but thats a personal opinion and preference.

Hope this helps a little.

Cheers

Same story as Al-Z. 155/55/14 with +38 offset and lowered 2" back and 1.5" front. Back is perfect (after shaving of bump stop), but front is scraping on hard cornering ( and I have shaved front guards). Next time I will get higher offset +42) and use 5 mm spacers at back.

Cheers

Offset is printed on the back of any decent rim. Usually says ET38, ET42 etc.

I had 13" rims (+38mm offset) and 165/65 tyres with only a tiny bit of scrubbing on the front until I rolled the arches.

175 tyres are just a bit too wide I would say. Josh ran 155/70 tyres, again with no scrubbing issues.
