Sorry mate, wasn't home to have a look, but it looks like it's been answered anyway.

would the single pack or the 3pack leaf be better? is there any advantage either way?

I believe the 3 leaf pack is better for carrying weight, and probably stiffer than the 1 leaf spring.

I was rather shocked to find out the mighty boy only has 1 leaf in the spring, when i first got the mighty boy.

the 3 pack leaf spring will offer a more supple and smooth ride, that way you wont have a sore neck if you drive long distance or go over a speed bump

hope this helps :D

Scary man!

My Hz pano has 4 in the pack as per std 500kg carrying weight, and i've fit a set of "tonna" springs which iirc have about 8 or 9 in the pack.......

If the above statement is true about the 3 leaf pack, i'll be happier when i get my boy back on the road, i've got a few 200km trips i need to do with it. Will be good to clock up a few kms to run the new engine in.

Cheers

If the hatch is just a parts car, go for it.
