Just a simple one for you lot, what do you carry around in your tray on a day to day basis? do most of you have tonneau covers or open top? What's the biggest load you've carted in your boy?

My ute has a removeable hard top, and I deliberately chose not to panel beat the tray area during the respray because it will always be a ute! :D

Anything and everything. I beated my tray straight when painting it, and carry around a large blanket to protect it from scratches. Does an OK job. I still get scuffs, but nothing that causes rust thankfully.

I managed 3 bikes and a weeks worth of camping stuff the other week. Quality effort if I do say so myself  - Its always good to see the amusing looks on peoples faces as they drive by... :)

A cover of some description would be good for things like shopping (I carry mine in the cab), but I'm not a big fan of the looks of them.

I was pouring some concrete one day and we had a bit left over. Had to take it around to the back yard but no wheelbarrow - so just reversed the boy up to the truck, and let her rip. Drove up to the back yard, shovelled it out and started all over again. 4 trips later, all the concrete moved, hosed him off - good as gold. The builder was just shaking his head, and his offsider couldnt work for the next half hour cause he was laughing so hard.
