hi all ive been able to get my hands on a 2 barrell webber carby off a fiat 850 sport. ive been told this should do a bit of difference to the power of my new motor when i put it in. Any ideas on weather it would or not.. :?

the new motor is just the 800cc out of hatch..

Yeah, but that thing was off a bloody Jeep 6-cylinder or some such! :lol:

The Webber off the 850 Sport sounds perfect. :wink:

how much better do you think it will go. would i notice the difference or would it be minimal

I had a DGV 32/36 weber on mine and it was such overkill it wasn't funny. Probably something to do with it originally being off a 1600cc motor. :roll:

Anyway, what you have sounds pretty good, and I would say you'd notice a healthy increase in power - moreso with a set of extractors.

i've run mine with a 350 holley it went great top end @ 22psi :D

I am in the process of getting a custom intake manifold made to mount a SU carb off a Mini Cooper (side draught) and will send Brayden photos as they are available - any ideas if this will go OK?

i had a 74 mini cooper.......and su carbys are gud but they always need to be re- tuned all the time.
