So i was bored on saturday night and found myself in liverpool and wandered down to KrispyKremes. An ethnic looking fella pulls up to me and says haha lil mighty toy wanna race a real car, i reved the engine i waited for the light to go green wooooo hoooo did i fly the lil corolla was about two car lengths behind the whole time until he started catching up slowly... but all and all he never got passed and i won i also had my girlfriend cheering me on next to me. He had the 1.8ltr RV Seca with only himself in the car and no subs that i could hear.

Ummm.. also around 30minutes ago i went up against a NAVARA 2.4liter meh it was no challenge.

Suzuki Mighty Boy F8B N/A : 1
Corolla and Navara : 0

thats all i can beat so far up to a certain point :!:

Like you, I believe that the Corolla's lack of sub-woofers and girlfriend cheerleaders is to blame.

Never enter into a drag race without sub-woofers and titties. You're bound to lose.

I just knew the fact that your ute was automatic and an F5A made no difference to its lack of speed! :keke:

whhoa! you kept up with a SSS pulsar. arent they twin cam efi 2.0ltr jap engines? that would of been funny to see.
Also Josh beating a corolla 1.8ltr with my 50kg plus subs and girlfriend was pretty crazy and i doubt i would of won without them :D

It was one of those races that only starts when the light goes green and other guy realises that you're staying nose and nose.. then it's all on for young and old! So it wasn't a dead set drag from standing start.. I'd say I held him from about 15km/h to 100 when his torque owned mine. Even still, I don't like speeding so I backed off at the end of fourth.

Remember, when you drive a mightyboy over 12km/h, you WILL die if you crash. :P

I'd like to know what magic ingredient can get an N/A MB to keep up with an 85kw Corolla - I tried running a 1.6 'rolla sedan once and got raped at about 90kph when I ran out of puff in third. (and we all know that there is NO torque in 4th) :?

Brayden the 1.6ltr square back corolla's go harder than the larger 1.8ltr seca RV's from 91-94 although they have 100kw's and 20valve (i think) they are a slow ugly bubble. I saw the same guy 2night at this volleyvall gathering and exchanged telephone numbers and raced again i still owned it i dunno maybe he's car is just stuffed.

No I ran an early 90's 1.6 with all of about 65/70kw and could only hold it until I reached the top end of 3rd - and that was with an N/A F8B with a weber, extractors, and a bunch of other mods. Mate congrats if you could take down an 85kw RV, I reckon you should take it for a run down WSID!

lol WSID imagine me there ill get chomped by charades n stuff. the corolla i kept up with is 100kw at the fly it sounds big over the 25kw's or so i got. ill run at Eastern Creek when i get more mods to the exhaust, try n fit a K&N and extractors. For some reason this myd-80y goes alot harder than the first 1 i tested which claimed to be a 800cc also. do you reckon its the fuel im using lol 98octane?.

Cheers, Scott
