where i live had its opening of its drag strip yestaerday. found this pick on there site. is this a suzuki? its a turbo rotary..

Nope, that be a Daihatsu 360/550 cab chassis ute I think.

Probably went the way of the dodo, dinosaur, and most other automotive projects! ;)

dad rekons that it wouldnt be that hard to put a small rotory in a mb. what say you colin?

I was also reading some laws that state a vehicle converted from FWD to RWD must be engineered as a hand-crafted vehicle, and not just a modified vehicle. :-o That would make things nice and tricky!

there is a bloke i met a while ago who told me he has a 12a in a MB i am still waiting to see proof

you could fit a little 10a rotary in a mighty boy couldn't you. i know a guy who has one and have been toying with the idea of maybe trying to put it in.. is it possable?

iu rememer onece in my Science class my teacher asked me if i could do up anycar what would it be? i said a mighty boy and they whole class was like WTF? cause they never herd of em, and than my teacher said to me be say one with a 13B rotaty in the tray of it and he said he has a pic to prove it, im still waiting for that day...

Anything's possible if your cool with never being able to drive it on the road...

The majority of us, on the other hand, are very interested in the cars being streetable, hence the rotary and 4-cylinder skepticism... :wink:

i went and started doing some research on engines to put in. i ended up decidin on a cb70 turbo or a k10a turbo - they both have around the same power

Go the CB70 if you're not a Suzuki purist.

I dare say it'd be a damn sight easier and cheaper to get parts for. Not to mention there being a world of aftermarket goodies to suit it...

lol no it hasn't. I was just warned by my wife that i was to finish one project before I start another. And the 12.5sec 1/4 Ford Laser KE TX3 is doing quite fine thank you :P

1.8L DOHC Mazda BPT with Garrat GT2876RR Turbo and Turbonetics Goodies in, Just susing out new drive shafts for the LSD FWD Gearbox and have to wire up the LT-10s & X4 quad coil Microtech. Should be back on the Road hopefully the end of June. And at this year fastfours Jambo. Thus why you have seen my request for a rolling might boy shell so i can start hacking at it :P

Thanks goes out to a mate of my for all the hard assembly of the gear and gearbox (Ross - GTXWGN) Looking to smash the Sports Compact FWD 1/4 Mile record this year, in his 323 Station Wagon.

So yes ROTABOY is still on the cards... 8)
