I've got an alto im selling all parts from. Most parts are in fairly good condition been in front end crash so no front, quarter panels etc.
the engine is currently in the car, and was running before i started pulling parts off for my other alto (i will take the engine out and put it back together if someone wants to buy), it has a crack in the sump but other than that, i would think the engine just needs a good carby clean and some new spark plugs and she would be good to plonk in a Mightyboy.
Just ask if your after any parts and i will see if i've got them
Can post at your cost of course
Can some one tell me what kinda price people would expect to pay for a 800cc with a manual box?
thanks
Wrecking alto 800cc manual in Bris
That really depends on it's condition.jish wrote: Can some one tell me what kinda price people would expect to pay for a 800cc with a manual box?
I think a good engine would be worth between $500 & $1000 given the base product (block head etc) would be worth a bit even in servicable condition.
thanks fritz i would think that around $400-$350ish would be a fair price for the engine and box, because the guy who i recently purchased it off said it was replaced not too long ago and the only thing ive noticed wrong in the short time i have owned it is the cracked sump.

ceej is after the gearbox but doesn't really wanna have to pay for the engine as well cause its gonna cost him to get it down there, and i cant make my mind up if i wanna split them.
