Are you still chasing the window mechanism?

Yes if possible.... I will rebuild them as a test case as most seem fairly worn now (because of age and dried grease etc). I plan to document the results on my website to help others. I think Brayden is right; converting to electric windows could be a waste of time? But will have a look at that as well. Can you PM me about the price and details if you want to sell a pair please? I don’t need winder handles - only the scissor/gear bits…..

Thanks

If that question can be answered with a Yes, i know where there are 2 1988 alto's that i reckon still have the winder mech's in them.

Cheers

I'll check on the weekend and get back to you, but I'm confident the answer is yes. The scissor and runners might be different, but the winder should be identical.

Do they? What car do they have it listed under? My drivers mech could do with replacement or repair.

Cheers
