- the cappa was dyno tuned. these settings are used for the f6a sohc settings. this will be good enough to drive your car for quite some time. dyno tuned is recommended, to get your engines most potential.
the f6a sohc settings are created from a import f6a sohc with no mods, other than a rear exhaust for a bit of noise.
none of the orignal vehicle wiring modified.
- comes installation wiring diagram for sohc model.
- the ecu comes with a preloaded settings from adaptronic. so its just a matter of having the engine installed and exhaust fitted. sitting down and doing the installation, install the ecu and retrofit a fuel pump. the car is ready to drive.

f6a dohc

the settings are created from a twin cam f6a thats been fitted to a 1987 mightyboy
- running the import cable shift 5spd gearbox on 13" wheels. and
- custom manifold and running charade turbo from a 1984 model.
- engine uses a modified metal intake directly from turbine to the k&n pod filter.
- 2.5" dump and 2 1/4" exhaust with no cat and high flow mufflers. the exhaust is all mandrel bend.
the retrofit install, included an external vl in-line fuel pump. and with none of the orignal vehicle wiring modified.
the adaptronic ecu using a 3bar map sensor. this engine was dyno tuned and achieved 17psi - 67.0kW at the front wheels. highest boost peak at 7500rpm and tuned to 9000rpm with rev limiter. the engine was possible to go further... but wanted to keep it safe.
this vehicle buzzes around sydney and is available for display, to see how it all works, and to show you that wiring isnt that much of a headache.
