Adaptronic ECU

- Adaptronic ECU $1000 RRP
- 0.5m Adaptronic loom is purchased seperately.
- Map sensor is purchased seperately.


u can use from any car to save money (as long as its in working condition) if the vehicle is turbo.. needs to be from a turbo vehicle. Recommended
New map sensor is also available from adaptronic. its the most reliable and safest choice.

Recommended Installation is by an qualified auto electrican, or if your capable. you can do it yourself.

Comes with manual on cd, program. f6a engine settings.

- has one of the fastest processors in a ecu than the current brand names on the market at the moment.
- the quality of aftermarket ecu that retail for thousand(s).

- both fuel and ignition are fully adjustable via laptop
- runs car with fully adaptive fuel (adds more and adds less when needed and remembers the fuel mixture settings.
- with the ability of a stock ignition knock sensor, the ecu is able to do add or retard ignition timing proven roughly upto 4000rpms, due to the standard sensor picking up too much interference (engine noise).


F6A sohc
=======

- the cappa was dyno tuned. these settings are used for the f6a sohc settings. this will be good enough to drive your car for quite some time. dyno tuned is recommended, to get your engines most potential.

the f6a sohc settings are created from a import f6a sohc with no mods, other than a rear exhaust for a bit of noise.

none of the orignal vehicle wiring modified.

- comes installation wiring diagram for sohc model.

- the ecu comes with a preloaded settings from adaptronic. so its just a matter of having the engine installed and exhaust fitted. sitting down and doing the installation, install the ecu and retrofit a fuel pump. the car is ready to drive.

f6a dohc
=======

the settings are created from a twin cam f6a thats been fitted to a 1987 mightyboy

- running the import cable shift 5spd gearbox on 13" wheels. and
- custom manifold and running charade turbo from a 1984 model.
- engine uses a modified metal intake directly from turbine to the k&n pod filter.
- 2.5" dump and 2 1/4" exhaust with no cat and high flow mufflers. the exhaust is all mandrel bend.

the retrofit install, included an external vl in-line fuel pump. and with none of the orignal vehicle wiring modified.

the adaptronic ecu using a 3bar map sensor. this engine was dyno tuned and achieved 17psi - 67.0kW at the front wheels. highest boost peak at 7500rpm and tuned to 9000rpm with rev limiter. the engine was possible to go further... but wanted to keep it safe.

this vehicle buzzes around sydney and is available for display, to see how it all works, and to show you that wiring isnt that much of a headache.

Do you or can you make up a wiring diagram for the Adaptronic installation?

I have already got the ECU and the loom from an efi convertion which was pritty much a bust. I live in Newcastle and it's pritty had to co-ordinate getting down there to see Andy (for those whom don't know is the guy who runs Adaptronic) a dyno and my own uni commitments to make it happen. Is the f6a from a CR22S (mine is) but, I'm sure any differences would be small.

I remember after he did the tuning for the efi convertion we had a chat and he told me about another similar car in Sydney and what they had done. With it, irronically it was what I wanted to do in the first place and what I've now got running.

I'm thinking of making the ECU run the spark too ... but, probably not until I get the fuel all sorted.

im not sure of the exact model front cut that the dohc engine that is used with an adaptronic...

it is compatible with f5a dohc turbo, f6a dohc turbo and f6a sohc turbo

It does say RRP though doesn't it or is the dude selling it a shop?

If its retail i would rather buy of a reputable shop that would handle warranty claims if they ever arouse.

Would it save headaches to have this installed to help tidyness of the scratch wire job of an f6a conversion...

who tunes them and for how much... ill want 75kw @tw so thes eosunf suitable for the application ill have once i get my mighty into production

at the current time, adaptronic ecu are available via the website.

there are several places that are in current talks about getting set up and being able to sell, at certain places will be able to install, and for shops that have a dyno, will be able to sell/install and tune it all in one spot.

some of the vehicles that were 1st test subjects are listed on the site.
if your adaptronic doesnt come preloaded with software. you are able to download everything off the site to upload onto your adaptronic ecu and fire it up.

all warranties claims for the time, can be directly refered to the adaptronic website

if you have a f6a custom built to achieve more power. the adaptronic will make it happen. the exactly same ecu powers a few jap cars with 300kW+ and over

the ecu is tunable by a reputable modification place with a dyno and does tune more than microtech only. after installation if the vehicle is located in sydney. the vehicle can be tuned by the owner/creator of adaptronic at a convient dyno. for current labour rates and dyno rates. best to use the email located on the website
